    Willem, you make some really good points for sure. Clearly, the biomechanical model alone cannot address or answer to the vast complexity that is called a human being.

    Newer pain models (i.e. Neuromatrix, centralization of pain, stress resistance,etc..) need to be integrated in to the older, outdated model to help raise the bar of treatment, training, etc..

      Keats, I think you are right.

      Figuring out how to effectively combine “all” that is available to us might get us closer to helping all our clients overcome all their discomforts – the one thing every therapist, trainer and coach is working towards.
